Frequently Asked Questions
How Do Flex Dollars work?
Flex Dollars can be used just like cash ($1.00 Flex Dollars = $1.00 Cash) towards food purchases at The Barrette Grille, Cavalier Cafe and if needed, The Schervish Dining Hall. They may also be utilized for purchases at The Sword Stop, located in the lobby of the Tower's II Dorms.
What if I run out of Flex Dollars?
You can purchase more flex dollars with a cash deposit of twenty-five dollars ($25) or more at the Finance Department Office, located in Farrell Hall on the first floor towards the baseball fields and parking lot.
What if I don't use all of my Flex Dollars?
Flex dollars not used during the Fall semester will transfer to the Spring semester for returning students. However, any flex dollars not used by the end of the academic calendar year will be forfeited. If you do not purchase a meal plan second semester, your remaining balance will not carry over.
Can I use points to pay for a guest?
If you have a guest on campus, you are able to use a meal swipe to pay for them in Schervish Dining Hall. You may use your Flex Dollars to pay for them in any of our Retail Locations.
